Goals

The Alexandria Police Department shall maintain the highest standards of professional excellence.  It shall deter criminal activity and seek, detect and arrest offenders of the law.  It shall enhance traffic safety, deter motor vehicle crashes, and enforce the Indiana Criminal Code and the City of Alexandria Ordinances.

 

The Alexandria Police Department shall maximize compliance with state and local laws and ordinances providing support services to meet enforcement and emergency need.  It shall provide the expertise and resources to educate the public safety and crime prevention.
