I love my community and believe that the city of Alexandria deserves the best from its citizens.  I want to bring respectability to the Court system. I believe that justice should be the primary goal of the court.  I am confident that I can administer decisions in a fair and consistent manner that will bring respect to the community and confidence to those who finds themselves before the court. I strongly believe that Alexandria Court system should and could be the most respected and effective city court in the State of Indiana.

I believe that the court system should and will be run in a very professional manner yet free of intimidation so that attorneys, law enforcement officers, defendants and their families can have confidence that the cases before the court will be heard and decided in an impartial and just manner.  I want to bring in new programs that will help offenders make better choices and find the help they need to break addictions.  I strongly believe that the city of Alexandria is ready to develop a probation department that cares for the defendants and families living in and around Alexandria. . I promise you that it will be the most effective and honest probation department in the State. Among the many issues that appear front and center for me personally are:

1. To update and modernize the courtroom, court procedures, and court files to ensure that the Alexandria Court system is one of the most professional and efficient court in Madison County.  

2. To lead with integrity. Without that integrity, the prosecutor’s office and police officers will not utilize the court thus denying Alexandria the opportunity to be a part of the solution to problems that trouble the city and the residence that live here. We want to provide fair and consistent decisions in all matters that come before the court.

3. To be sensitive to the needs of the victim(s) of crimes.  I want to establish community based substance abuse program available to both defendants and residents who need or seek these services.  Establish a community services program that allows defendants to provide needed services to the community as a part of their sentencing. 4. To develop a domestic violence program that can be utilized by victims in Alexandria and surrounding areas. Develop a treatment program for those guilty of Domestic Violence and to provide information and support for the victims of Domestic Violence.

I hope that the above stated goals show my commitment to the Alexandria Court system and to the community of Alexandria. The goals I have outlined are practical and needed to ensure that those who come before this court have the resources to make positive changes in their lives.
