The Parks Department is dedicated to providing a safe, family orientated parks system that is attractive and beneficial to the citizens of Alexandria and the surrounding areas.
Implementing the tree program. Within the past 12 years have had planned the tree replacement with over 70 new trees to date. Upgrading the playground equipment at Beulah Park. Replacement of the Emery Lee Building.

Our parks serve many purposes and various parts of our community, be certain to enjoy all of our facilities:
Beulah Park is the largest in our park system and the home to our annual County 4-
Minnesota Park and Riverview Park serve our neighborhoods and families a little closer to home.
Harrison Square Park located in the heart of our downtown provides a great place to visit with friends while enjoying the waterfall and beautiful flowers and greenery.
Skateboard Park currently located on the outskirts of town is enjoyed by our youth.
